Cargo Light

Post by Calvin Gunter »

My Ranger did not come with a cargo light from the factory but I want to add one.I bought a complete used assembly from a swap meet.My question is does anyone have a diagram as to where the harness should be routed.I have found the measurements on this sight as to where to cut the hole in the cab but couldn't find where to route the wires.TIA,Calvin

If you do a search in the forums, someone did a write up on the placement, and I believe there are even measurements for when you go to cut out your hole to mount the cargo light.

Also I see some years look as though the light is mounted up side down.Although I'm going to mount mine to match the shape of the cab what is the criteria for the way they are mounted? Are certain years mounted a certain way?TIA
