New vintage brochure posted: '1968 Explorer Special'

Post by FORDification »

Man, this lack of caffiene is really messing up my sleeping habits! I was in bed last night by 10:30 (usually it's not till midnite or 1AM), and then ended up being awake by 4AM this morning. Since I couldn't get back to sleep, I decided to scan another vintage factory brocure.

This brochure is entitled "Explore With Us - A Treasure of Better Ideas in 1968" and details Ford's massive roadtrip from Florida down to the Mexican Yucatan with a fleet of '68s. It's actually some pretty interesting reading.

I saw the article and realized the '70 I just picked up is an Explorer Special. F250 Camper Special Custom with options A and B. I couldn't find anything to explain the Explorer badge on the glove box until now. Kieth, you really have a tremendous site here  . I seem to learn something new everytime I log on. Pictures are at imageshack.
