filter bolts

:hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: I installed a shift kit and new filters it was a pioneer kit, never heard of it before but was asured by oreilly's it was good kit, HOWEVER, I put a new filter in and can't seem to get the bolts in the right places, can anyone help? thanks tom :? :? :? :( :( :(

Be sure that you are just starting all the bolts a few threads. If the holes still don't line up, I'd return the filter with the box and reciept and ask if they would give you another filter. Another option, if your old filter is just a metal screen type just clean it and reuse.

:( :( :( sorry I did not clarify myself very well here. the bolts all fit and the filter fits my problem is the bolts are different lengths and I don't remember which ones go in which place. :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

You didn't say whether you were working on a Cruise-O-Matic (C4) or a C6. If you've got a C6 I can send you a pic if you give me your e-mail.
