center or drag link torque?

Post by dotcentral »

My Chiltons does not list a torque for the center link to the passenger (long) tierod. I tried using the same as the other components, 52-72 ft-lbs (or something like that), but it compressed the rubber bushing by at least half. So that seems to much.

Anyone got this number?

I don't think there's a torque setting for those...just tighten 'em till they're tight while allowing the cotter pin hole to line up with the castle nut.
