Cool, been working one the mounting fixture the last few evenings. Let me know if and when you find the 4x4 boot.

Finally figured out how to get the BobCAD program to render in 3D. It's not the greatest, but here's some pics of the part. The middle group of lines are the bottom step to cover the carpet.

The bezel will be 7" x 8" x 1/4" thick with a milled recess on the bottom to cover the carpet or rubber matt, six holes in the factory position and have the top outside part radiused and smoothed.

Part may end up polished or raw finished depending on how it turns out.

I know you probably have your hands full with all your doing but maybe a cluster and a din cover for us slickside owners would be nice also. I know ezernut just got a slick short wide recently. I myself would like a cluster for the slickside and a trim ring for the din radio. I wish mine had the factory headliner in it so i could see if the bump dome light is the same or not.

Man, right now I'm tinkering with some stuff and waiting for the economy to settle and metal prices to drop a good bit.

its 5inches across bottom.7 3/8 in middle tapers back to 51/2 at the turned up top edge
looks llike about 1/2 radius on corners. top edge tuns up 1 inch. i dont know how to xfer pics from phone but i can text to you if you pm me a phone number

looks like i posted dimensions for the wrong boot. you need 4wd dims. it is 8.75x 5.75 oval with the left side bent down over the hump edge 1 inch. hole spacing is 8 x 4.75
