Coil Springs

Post by sb4boys »

I just replace the coil springs, tie rods and bushings on my 68 f100, and now the driver’s side sits about an inch higher than the passenger side. Could the coil springs be side specific or is it something else?

Yes they are side specific designed that way due to the power steering weight offset.

I'm about to do this, so which side gets the taller coil?

Taller, thinner wire diameter spring goes on the left. Shorter, thicker spring goes on the right.

Thanks for all the feedback. I switched the springs and it is now level..I thought they were both the same.
