I'm actually pretty good with it now. I let a friend drive it down the street, and the camber looks fine as he drives by. Seems that how much you want to trim depends on age, mileage, and conditions the springs were used in over the years. Mine were already sagging a bit before I cut one round off.
I trimmed some off of all my bumpstops, probably wasn't necessary but gave me extra clearance for some big potholes. I haven't bottomed it out yet, and don't think it will. Unless I haul something pretty heavy in the bed...... which I don't plan on, my truck is retired!

Thanks for the reply, it helps.

Mind if I ask what size tires you have now? And what size tires you are getting? Why don't the ones on there now fit correctly?

Trying to learn what I need before I drop my truck.

Thanks,

it has a load on so it's a little lower in the rear than it really is.

Hello all. New to the tread. Just got a new toy a week ago and was researching how to lower it and found this great site. Picked it up from a friend for $300!!

DJM 3" & 4" drop. I just swapped to 15x10" rear wheels and finished my customized '60's hub caps! I love the look!
