Hello, Don't know if this was already posted but being new to 352 engines, I would like to know if i do a basic tune-up/plugs/plug wires cap and rotor. Do i need to check timing?? Engine seems to be running fine. I did spray a little carb cleaner down carb and it seems to be idling just little fast. I still get a little bit of a stumble when i come to a stop and accelerate after coming to stop sign/lights. Other than that she is running pretty good.
thanks
dave

Re: timing after tune up
Dave, it's really a matter of opinion here but I will usually throw a vacuum gage and timing light on my truck once a year. If it cranks and seems to run fine sometimes playing with the timing can be just like this little guy, (adding more work for yourself)...I would like to know if i do a basic tune-up/plugs/plug wires cap and rotor. Do i need to check timing?? Engine seems to be running fine.
