Maybe we need a new sticky in the for sale section.... Buy, Sell, Trade feedback.
this way it keeps everyone aware of who to buy from.

I hope this all works out. I bought a set of bumper guards from him a while back and he treated me right. I must add that life's pressures getting to a person is no excuse for screwing others. I hope this gets resolved.

Kinda sucks, I just caught on to this thread. I know that Paul had some (financial?) issues in the past but seemed like a stand-up kinda guy. I still have one of his quality harnesses in a box in my parts room. Hopefully, he is not having health issues. If he isn't then he needs to log on to the forum and at least say something like "he's in a bind, but will make good" or something like that. I hate to throw a guy under the bus without enough information. On the other hand, if he is on the take then he needs a good ol' fashioned tune-up.

I would have to think he hosed ScreaminZ`s wife too. Has anyone been able to check that? It doesn`t get any lower than that.
Best way is to bring it to general disscusion and let people know who the dirt bags are that are screwin peopleBill W wrote:Maybe we need a new sticky in the for sale section.... Buy, Sell, Trade feedback.

Re: headlight harness upgrade thread update
there was no other thread where he did wrong. he just wasnt on the site for a while. and then he came back on the site sold some stuff. was in the middle of a divorce. and started selling the harnesses again.Andy Man wrote:Jamie, it is helpful that you stepped up, gave an opinion, an filled in some past, slippery history...
Before your post, I kinda fealt like wtf, looks like I got caught under a black cloud, I.ll just move on....
Now I am pissed off, and not only with Paul. When others questioned his reliability, voices chimed uo with oh he is a good guy, does quality work, you will not be disappointed and so on...No word of caution and no pointer to that last go around thread,,,which is where? I cannot find it.

Support before condemnation, hopefully we can salvage this.

I'm with Jamie here. My mother bought a harness from him as a gift for me. It was a last minute suggestion that I gave her and he made sure that it showed up on time. He may have even sent it before he received payment. I think I was also one of the guys that defended him last time, if I wasn't, I would have. Prior to this, there was no reason not to trust him. I know that he has had some very tough times, a death in the family, divorce and a baby, plus some serious financial hardship. That does not excuse him, but it may explain how somebody with a good reputation could take a walk down the wrong path. I hope this is resolved.

Re: headlight harness upgrade thread update
Question: where is Keith on this.... i sent him a PM and a e-mail with no responce. has anyone tried to contact screaminZ's wife to seeif she recived any funds?
I urge anyone who might have paid Paul using paypal (even if its been more than the 45 day) to start a dispute, Paul could still be pulling this on other sites... we need to shut him down. if anyone wants Pauls info so you can file a complaint through you local PD feel free to shoot me a e-mail or PM.
i hope this turns out good for everyone involved, but at this point i would be afraid to open any package from Paul..... so i would just want the funds back.

Re: headlight harness upgrade thread update
Good morning,
I bought a harness from Paul a while back and received it right away, and it looked like a cool product. I haven't installed it yet since I've rarely driven my truck at night (so the dissatisfaction with the factory lights hasn't motivated me to pull it out of the box yet).
I feel compassion for you guys who have sent off money weeks and weeks ago, and haven't seen any hopeful signs that anything's going to happen. As some of you guys know from reading my doomed FE thread, I know how it feels to loose money and feel mistreated.
My opinion on all of this is that things would work out best in the long-term if everybody took an extreme "innocent until proven guilty" kind of attitude. I know many of us believe that we've seen enough proof already, and my perspective might be different if I were personally missing money, yet it seems to me that there's not enough evidence to conclude that Paul has a malicious intent here. Paul's been posting on FORDification for years and has established himself as a likeable guy, so if there's even 2% of doubt at all about what's going on, I feel like he deserves to have the full benefit of that doubt.
Considering all the things that have been said about him in this thread, I can imagine that it wouldn't be easy for him to want to participate in FORDification anymore even if this were cleared up. Since nobody knows for sure what's going on with him, there's a chance that what he needs to get back on track is the opposite of most of what he's received in this thread--an uncommon show of kindness from folks who have seen him around here for years.
I may not have considered all of the facts while coming up with my opinion, so thanks for humoring me if this all sounds naive. To folks who have been sorely missing their cash for a good number of weeks now, I can imagine that it probably does sound naive. It's just that once I've basically decided that a guy's an OK guy, it takes a lot for me to change my mind about them. And since folks tend to be influenced by how they're treated, choosing to treat a guy with extraordinary kindness in this type of situation can be a strong motivating force for him to show up and get back on track with stuff. A guy's acquaintances can be a sort of "flywheel" for him in this way.
Thanks for reading, and I hope this works out fine for everybody!

That is interesting. I, in no way want to get into a pissing contest with anyone...only
because I have been around a short 3 months. I have no knowledge of anyone around here that
goes further back then those three months...BUT...In a post made by Jamie, before the one
that you quoted, he stated...
"My (unassociated with Fordification.com) personal opinion is this is a train wreck that's
been in progress for a while. Threads from the last go around had him vanish
for a while, appologise for not coming around, personal issues and all that for excuses.
" >SNIP<
So, which is it? He says yeah it was talked about...you say nah, we never talked about
it...So, which is it? If there is not a clear answer to 'this. Let's not go any further
with that. Way back I asked where is that thread... I got no reply other than yours.
I have decided to be very cautious in my future dealings with any forum seller. Too many
people here are making excuses for the guy, or downplaying the effect that his shady
behavior is having on the new members here. Look at the posts that have stepped up
and said, yeah, I got burned also. Most, if not all, of those people have one star under
their names.
I get it that you long timers here liked the guy. You have a history with him. So do the
short star members. Their history is that they are being burned by him. It is not helpful
to hear "life happens". Better if you all stop downplaying this really bad behavior. As I
am writing this, I realize how appalling some of the long time member comments about this
are.
Where did some of you guys lose your balls. You can't even support a new member who has
been burned without telling him, oh Paul is such a great guy. WTF...are you a bunch of
apologists incapable of facing reality. Paul took other people's money, said that he
ordered the parts and would ship soon. That was months ago. He is MIA and refuses to
respond in any way to members here. To paraphrase, he has said...GO F*** YOURSELVES.
From this point on, either help Bill W or keep your namby pamby bs to yourselves..
I was very happy here, withstanding Paul's deal. But, now, I am really disgusted by some of
your attitudes...
Oh yeah...If the shoe fits, most likely you already wear it..

Andy Man,
One of the reasons those of us with more than one stars have been around this site is because there haven't been many as offensive as you here. I'm sorry that the guy took your money and gave you nothing in return. Most of us have not had similar experience with folks on this site. Your beef is with Paul, not us. Keep your insults to yourself or stay off this site!
