Good day, all!
I have looked at the various threads on this subject, but didn't see a specific answer to a question I have, so please bear with the newbie!
I am restoring a 1968 F100 Ranger 2WD. It had a 360 with C-6 Automatic transmission, but the engine was long gone when I bought it. It just has the old C-6 still hanging under it. I have a "donor" 1975 F100 with a running 460 with matching C-6 transmission, which I want to swap into the '68 as a "unit".
The question I have relates to the engine perches. Can I simply pull the old 360 perches out of the '68 and use the ones attached to the 460 from the '75?
In case it makes a difference.....I also plan to swap out the entire front end from the '75 into the '68, to give me disc brakes (and power steering). If there is anything I should be watching out for, please do not hesitate to "educate" me.

yes you unbotl the perches from each truck as swap them into the 68 with the new engine.

Grab everything you can from the 75 truck. Make sure to get the transmission cross-member as well. I really cannot remember if I used it or not but get it in case. Get the driveshaft as well. Same case though. Might need it. Just get everything you can from it. Shift rods for the C6, any bell cranks if there. Power brake booster especially if it is the smaller one, radiator if it is good, plus like said all of the brake and steering stuff. Good luck. You will enjoy the 460

And, thanks cdeal28078, for suggesting those other parts to (possibly) swap. I own the donor truck (I call it "Rusty" for obvious reasons), and it will be "stored" out on the family farm. So, I can always go back and scavange as needed, as I progress through this project. I hadn't thought of all those other swap-able parts though! Much appreciated!
