I've been using a wire wheel all day and priming and painting them. Will have the final product pics later tonight

The main function of the rubber boots is to keep large pieces of debris out of the tie rod end, they're not snugly fitted to the tie rod end by design.

I just did this but I used DJM's 3" dropped beams.

From a '75 donor...
-booster
-proportioning valve
-front brake hose brackets
-spindles
-radius arms
-coil springs
New replacement parts for a '75 (new kingpins included with DJM beams)...
-master cylinder
-rotors
-calipers
-pads
-bearings/seals
-brake hoses
and then I bent up all new hard lines.

That truck is so good looking!!! Mine will be about what yours is:) i repainted everything and im going to install the stuff today
to bad my drive way isnt flat haha

Thanks a bunch! My driveway isn't exactly flat but I felt it was flat enough to do what I was doing. Believe me...I don't just crawl around under a vehicle without being 100% sure it's not going to move anywhere!

sound good bud. got one side one and almost the other except were having a little trouble with the other i beam going into the hole
so i took a supper break

well im all done except brake lines and re-installing tie rod ends
Cant tell yall enough how much yall have helped making this all go bye so easy. I really do appreciate all the help. Believe me the project wont stop at just a disc brake swap, now what fun would that be? Haha. well here are some photos. THANKS!!!

oh yeah! i was debating on weather or not to put the motor back in first or not and decided not to. i wont put it back in until brake lines are done.
