Hillbillydelux 69 Ranger

Post by HillbillyDelux »

My truck is 1969 F100 Ranger 2wd 302 C4.
i bought it in the summer of '08 the mods so far include 80's ford aluminum bullit hole wheels, aluminum radiator, crane cams electronic ignition with rev limiter, full tune up with msd streetfire wires and accel super coil. tinted windows, oh yea and an electric fan that i still haven't put back on.

Next on the As Soon As Possible list is hooker longtubes, all new exhaust, edelbrock aluminum intake and rebuilt ford 4bbl carb, i also plan to add a roll pan do the rear hanger flip and cut a couple coils in the front

In the future id like to add some torq thrust D wheels, drop beams, disc brakes, a stroker motor, and do a full resto

Pics as soon as i can get em on here

Edit: almost forgot about the wiper delay i ordered from two-bit

EDIT: more possible future plans...5 speed and procharger on a stroked small block

I haven't really thought about it. Do you want it? Its straight, the chrome is decent but old. I will also be taking the hitch off would you be interested in it as well? Let me know and ill take some better pictures of it for you.

Lookin' good man ! I looked all over for a set of those wheels years ago but couldnt find any in good shape.

How is your C4 holding up ?? Im planning on dropping a auto tranny in my truck. Im still on the fence with the C4 vs. C6.

Thanks man! i got the wheels from a guy that deals only in salvaged fords a couple years ago for a '86 F150 i had, got rid of it and kept the wheels.

The C4 is good it shifts good iv never felt it slip or anything (knock on wood) I believe its been rebuilt tho. If it was me id use the C4 plenty of trans for any 302 and doesn't rob as much power as a C6
