FORDification gets a plug in the latest 'Classic Trucks' mag

Postby FORDification on Fri Mar 07, 2008 6:26 pm

I got the latest edition of Classic Trucks magazine in the mail today, and in the latest installment of the 'Bumpside Build-off', Co-Editor Grant Peterson (our own 'buckingthebowtie') details how he fabricates some mounts for his Mustang seats. Grant had contacted me a while back telling me about this installment and was wondering if I had any good hi-res pics of the factory bucket seat brackets that he could use in the article, as a means of comparison with the brackets he created. I did have one, but it wasn't the best and I told him I didn't know if he'd be able to use it or not. Well, the pic didn't make it in, but the plug he promised for the site and forums did!

Thanks Grant!

This is actually a very good article by Grant with lots of pictures on the subject of mounting bucket seats in our trucks, and I definitely recommend this issue to anyone who doesn't already have a subscription. His brackets did turn out pretty cool!

I've added the above graphics to the FORDification.com In the News page.

To quote Navin R. Johnson....
"This is the kind of spontaneous publicity - your name in print - that makes people. I'm in print! Things are going to start happening to me now!"

That's been a good series of articles - and since you run the premier website/forum for these trucks, it was only a matter of time before they recognized you.  You really have a wealth of information here.

Congrats! (and THANK YOU for running this site!)
