Recent update: Truck is moving under own power now. Got transmission install completed( 5-speed from a '91 f150 ) had to add a carrier brg cross member, the old was in the wrong place for the application.

Back from Muffler Shop, We used the factory split manifolds from the '91 and we ran 2 1/4 pipes to a Flow Master muffler two in / one 3" out and exit behind cab.

What size tires are you running with this lift?

Thank you! I just picked up a 70 F250 that I want to get the same 315/70r17's (metric 35's) that I have on my Raptor under the 70 as well but am torn between the 3" and 5" autofab kits.

Would rather be lifted less if it all possible. The metric 35's measure out to just under 34". What are your thoughts on clearance looking at your 3" kit? You do coils and beams?

Any rubbing with the 33's?

Thanks!!

We ended up with about 4" of total lift, from where the truck was actuating sitting before we started . Yes do the coils and the beams ,they are bent nearly perfect. You will also need to buy the steering linkage or make one your self. We made ours ( we run a machine/ fab shop)
This will let you adjust the toe on both sides of the truck like a newer vehicle.

No issues with 33's so far, although it's not going down the road. 34's could have so issue at full turn may depend on the wheel

Thanks for your prompt reply! Nice being able to speak with someone who's installed these and recently. Have any more pics of the front end install?
The wheels I've selected are the Cragar D-slots, 17x8 with 4.5" backspace. You mentioned that you did a shackle flip to bring up the rear - is there a shackle flip kit out there I should look at as well (pardon my ignorance, this is my first vintage Ford build...)

Thanks again!

I should have reposted to correct that. We flipped the shackles and that gave us too much lift in the back. Let me go back over it with my son. I don't remember exactly what we did. Ill take some pics as well. No kit that I know of. Just have to mess with it and find what you need.

Reply to Rear shackle flip:
What ended up going was lowering the rear spring hanger and adding a shackle off of a '84 bronco ll. we lowered the spring hanger by moving the top hole if hanger to bottom hole of the frame. Then added a 1/4 x2x2 angle with correct holes drilled for hanger and bolt that to the frame for the bottom bolts. We took a shackle off of the bronco ll boxed it in and added to the set up.
