Ignition switch harness

Post by Ron_Hall »

Hi guys! have a quick question, when removing the wiring harness from the back of the Ignition switch, are there any clips holding it or can I just wiggle it towards the rear?

Thanks
Ron

Unscrew the switch from the dash, pull it down as much as you can, wear some gloves and squeeze the two tabs and wiggle-wiggle-wiggle-wiggle the begesus out of it. If it hasn't been off in quite some time it will be a mother to get off.

My '70 uses the spade lug type of switch, but has no clips to hold the connector in place.
