Engine wiring harness

Post by Pattherat »

I bought a 1969 f100 with a 360. It had an engine fire and the wiring harness needs to be replaced. I've searched but can't seem to find anyone the sells just an engine harness. Any
Help would be much appreciated.

I bought one for the same reason for my 69 f-250 with a 390 from Greens. The part # was C7TZ-14258-Y.
Here is a link to the info I received from Ford parts veterans regarding this harness.

Worse case scenario, my original harness is very easily repairable if you're interested. :fr:

I used one for a 390 mustang on mine, works fine and IRRC looked identical.

Can't find that online either. Did you buy it new? Part number?

I guess I need to dig into it. I was assuming it was all one harness in the engine compartment. Maybe there are three or four separate ones. Engine guage feed harness, Alternator harness, headlight harness, ignition harness?

Maybe show us what you need, I think the ALT harness is separate, not sure what you're calling the ignition harness and I'm pretty sure the headlight harness is part of the main harness...

Think I'm going to move this to electrical, you might get some better help...

The gauge harness is definitely a separate harness as it only feeds the gauge senders and ignition coil. It plugs into the dash harness right above and behind the ignition switch.

I don't know what I need yet. I was just hoping to get all the parts ordered before I dig into it. The engine fire pretty much cooked everything not metal. Here's a pic:
