Turn Signals

Post by Cal2121 »

Sometimes my turn signal indicator lights (inside the cab) will slow down (blinking very slowing) or even stop and stay light. I'm not sure if the actual turn signals are similarly slowing down/stopping. It only does it once in a while and only for a very short period of time. Wondering if anyone has had this issue and what it could be.

If the indicator light slows down, the turn signal lights slow down. You probably have corroded light socket terminals causing a bad connection. Another, problem could be the flasher unit under the dash is getting weak. Pull the lenses off and check your light sockets and bulbs for corrosion, and clean as necessary. If that doesn't fix the problem replace the flasher unit.
