So, as I was cleaning up my work bench I ran across this piece that was laying under "stuff". Crap! Back apart it came to add in the missing baffle. Not sure what it does but they put it in there for some reason so I figure I better put it in too.

Thanks! No, I don't. They were so old and brittle that when I took it out, they just crumbled to dust.

How is this door opened and closed? Is it from a cable from the controls?? Refer to this diagram http://www.fordification.com/tech/image ... -incab.jpg In the lower right corner, it shows the evaporator and heater core and the various panels and doors that support them and operate the doors. You have to remove the front case, remove the evaporator core and then you can get to the door. The door itself can be removed from it's pivot rod but the rod cannot be removed from the case as it has to come out through the top and be rotated around in order to remove it totally.
