Need some values on gauge

Post by spartman »

Was just wondering if any of you knew what the resistance range was on the oil pressure senders in our trucks that had guages.

I am looking for a sender to fit my gauge and it needs to be the same as a Steward Warner setup. That is 240 at 0 psi and 33.5 at 80 psi.

Thanks guys.

All senders for our trucks (with gauges) are the same ohmic range.

10 ohms = high hash mark on the gauge

22.8 ohms = midrange on the gauge

73 ohms = low hash mark on the gauge

"Yeah 220, 221, whatever it takes."

You're welcome. Why don't you just buy a Stewart Warner sender? The 0-80psi sender is SW279A.
