Dennis Carpenter Antenna

Post by Pat Crash »

Does anyone know if the Dennis Carpenter antenna can be pushed all the way down so it sits flush with the hood? And also if it moves up and down when you turn on the power to the radio, or if it needs to be manually pulled up and pushed down. My main concern is taking the F100 to a car wash. I have the LMC $20 version and I am unable to remove the mast, as far as I can tell.

No. I't will collapse down to be pretty short and may be able to take a car wash but, I don't take old cars through a car wash so I wouldn't know.

Thank you for the offer. I like to keep things pretty stock looking.
