I might have to go with the 4" I only have 11 inches from frame to ground, 3" clearance think I'll be cleaning the highway for the state

Just an FYI.... and maybe a guideline for general info:

In CA, the Motor Vehicle Code basically states no portion of a vehicle or equipment affixed to a vehicle can be lower than the height of the tire sidewall. Meaning, nothing will scrape the ground with a flat tire on any corner of the vehicle.

Makes sense to me... go figure.

Mine looks super low when it's parked on grass, but when on pavement, it's easy to see that it's taller than the tire sidewall. It's about higher than the bead portion of the rim.

I thought I'd post a shot with a little better lighting. This was just outside Shiner Texas, home of Shiner Beer!

I thought I'd post an update. I still have the airdam on my truck with no dragging issues or complaints. I still like the look and get asked all the time where I got it and how I installed it. I still think it's one of my best cosmetic mods I've made! 8)
