bed side tool box install?

Post by Zorm »

Has anyone grafted the bed side tool box onto a bed that did not have one and have pics?
I posted about a wood floor for the bed I just picked up but then, might just cut up this bed to repair my bed, since its the camper special with the tool box. Or if anyone wants to swap same shape bed (the one I just picked up) for same shape bed but with tool box, lets talk. New to me bed still on the trailer.

I just did the opposite, I removed one while I was shortening my long bed. It shouldn't be a problem installing one, just cut a flange around the donor box and cut the hole in the fender and weld it up.

I used the section from the other side of the bed that was cut out to build the short bed. I used a section that tall to fix someone else's scab fab work. I got lucky and was able to cut out all the bad metal work. Anyway here's the patch work.>>>
