window rubber recommendations

Post by shortbedCUSTOM »

I'd like to replace my rear sliding window with a solid one this summer. I think I'll go ahead and replace the front windshield also as it has a crack that runs the full width. Which vendor has the best rubber products for these trucks? I'll need some vent window seals soon also. I noticed DC has their rear window seal for $50 and LMC for $30. Why such a large price difference? Is DC's quality that much better? What about soffseal?

I purchased mine from NPD but it was labeled as a DC part. Worked really well.

STAY AWAY FROM LMC'S PLASTIC AND RUBBER PRODUCTS !!!.... ESPECIALLY IF IT IS MADE OVERSEAS.

Their rubber formulation sucks monkey nuts... i bought those pieces to cover the gap btwn the fenders and the cab and they crumbled and fell apart in only two years.

I have used Steele Rubber, but they are pricey. Good, but pricey.

Dennis Carpenter makes very high quality rubber products for a fair price.

I think I'm going to give DC a shot. Hopefully it pays off.
