1971 Ford f100 dash pad replacement

Post by Papaputz4 »

In need of replacing my entire dash pad on my 71 Ford f100. Does anyone know if the dash vents come installed if I order a complete dash replacement or are the dash vents a Separate item. Please help?

The vents are molded into the pad.

Mine came with the vents but i seen on social media site that some are coming without the vents and it's "not just a cap" to cover old pad. Beware when buying !!

$70 vs $400 should be pretty obvious who's getting the plastic cap and who's getting the vinyl pad.

I found a brand new Dennis Carpenter dash pad at a swap meet, and it had the vents installed. Carpenter uses the original Ford tooling, and the fit and finish were perfect. The picture shown in his catalogue currently don't show the vents, but you could always send them a quick email to confirm.
