Postby OldRedFord on Mon Nov 16, 2009 11:26 pm

What size torx bit do I need to take the lap bets out? Need to do some welding.

If you end up stripping the torx on the bolt , seeing as you have to do some welding anyway.
Get a large nut and weld it through the center to the head of the bolt.
Then you can get a socket and impact it off , the heat also will help in removal.

Put a wet rag over the fuel filler so there's no big kaboom.  :D
