mystery light

Post by mustang68 ranger71 »

I have a 71 XLT, their is a small red light in the dash at the bottom left corner rite next to the top of the kick panel. It has never been on since i have owned the truck and I am not sure what it is for. Can someone fill me with some insight please.

It's probably asked so much because it looks like it doesn't belong or odd. Also you don't see the word brake unless it lights up.

It is a strange function, I guess Ford didn't trust the "new" dual chamber master cylinder design.
