What is this hole the the dash for?

It's the right hand side of the steering wheel beside the cigarette lighter.

The switch for the cargo light is also mounted to the right of the steering column.

Cheers,
Duane.

Did that cargo switch take the place of a manual choke for a truck that had automatic choke ?

Are all these holes the same diameter? I no longer run a manual choke so that spot is vacant and I would like to install an emergency flash knob.

That should be doable.

To answer your question, no not all of the holes are the same size. It depends on what the hole was for. All of the Choke cable holes should be the same size though.

My '69 had the switch in the glovebox too. I moved my switch to the Choke knob opening, using a switch from a '70-'72. It's a perfect fit. :)

P.S. You'll have to unwrap the underdash harness and extend the White/Blue stripe wire by about three feet. It's the only wire that was too short to reach the new location. I hope this helps.

I installed a 12 vdc power port for the E-Street EFI's tablet. I'm gonna add an oil pressure gauge and be done.
