TRANNY TUNNEL HEIGHT?

Post by stangn »

How can you determine whether you have a low medium or high trans tunnel? Want to order carpet for my 70.

Do you have the removable panel on your transmission tunnel? I think if you have that removable panel you have the high hump. And if not, you have the low hump.

To my knowledge there are only 2. Removable is high hump. Non-removable is low hump. The removable one's came in different variations depending on 2wd/4wdor column shift vs floor shift. Difference being cutouts for shifters. I could be wrong but I believe there's only 2 heights.

Got it. I do not have a removable tunnel, so must be low. Thanks for the help.
