lifting a 68 Ford F100 4x4.

Post by CO684X4 »

Ok ive searched what i could and havent really come up withan answer. I want to lift my 68 F100 6-7 inches. What other years of lifts if any would work on this? I ve seen alot fo the 76-79 fords. but nothing really for the older ones. Here is a liitle info on my truck. It has the disc brake D44 from a 77 F150, power steering from a 77 F150, 9inch rear from a 77 F150 and power brakes from the 77 F150. So my other question is isnt my truck pretty much the same as a 77 F150 suspension wise? So would a lift kit for that year work? or is there some other differences im missing? thanks for the info.

The suspension is the same from 66 to 79 on coil sprung 4x4's. The only differences over the years are in the steering box.
