Cruise Controls

Post by 67-72fordtruck »

Has anyone ever put an aftermarket cruise control in their truck. I am thinking of adding one before the 600 mi trip to the Supernationals. I have been looking at both an Audiovox CCS-100 or a Rostra 250-1223 unit. The Audiovox is only $90 complete. The Rostra will be nearly $250 by the time you get all the parts I need. I think I may go with the Audiovox but am just concerned that "you get what you pay for".

Any assistance would be appreciated!!!!!!!!

wonder how you would wire in the 73-79 Cruise control. If it needs the whole wheel thats fine i have the 77's wheel and it looks close enough.

The old truck made it down and back to Knoxville (1200 mi round trip) without a hitch. Great time at the Supernationals!!!!!!!!!!!! The Audiovox cruise worked like a charm!!!
