1969 f250 camper special wheel bearing part #

Post by papawhellie »

Im trying to get my bump aligned and the old school shop said I needed to replace a wheel bearing. I have my drag link and the rods, axle bushings but wondering if anyone had experience on correct part numbers. To get USA bearings I'll probably have to eBay so cannot return if wrong. Thanks. I can post a vin or someone guide me to verify gvw.

You will want to verify, and if you have 4wd/AWD you will need to look up the numbers yourself.

National
2WD/RWD

(light duty brakes)
Front outer 2wd- A3
Front inner 2wd- LM29710(race) LM29748(bearing)

(heavy duty brakes)
Front inner 2wd-A35
Front outer 2wd- 15101(bearing) 15245(race)

If one bearing is shot then the other bearing is probably in just as bad a shape. I always replace wheel bearings in pairs. If the left is worn the right is probably pretty close.

Thanks for the info, looking back at rock auto I see that there are two major choices the large one inch bore and smaller. I spent some time crossing numbers and opted for kohl bearings made in Japan as it was harder to source races and bearings all USA. I ended up paying 23.98 for the outers Koyo 15101/245 and 29.98 for the inners LM501439/10 on eBay shipped. Thanks David. Those numbers work for search on the bearing/race combo. The races are 15245 and LM501310 respectively.
