F250 front disc swap

I have a 71 f250 with drums on the front. I want disc instead. I have a 78 E250 van will the i beams and other related parts work. They look very similar but i may be missing something.

I'm gonna go "out on a limb" here and say it will work, (based on the frames being one and the same for the "F" and "E" series). I would however like to hear others here input on this. And don't rule out going over to the Econoline forums and asking the same question.
Here is the I-Beam comparison chart that also has Ford OEM part numbers stamped on the beams so it you can find them on the E-series beams you have it might prove to be the 100% answer your looking for:

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!

The frame are not the same for the "F" and "E" series. If you try and use the "I" beams from a van the geometry is all messed up.

Funny thing you say that because I owned a 1979 E-350 Pathfinder 4 X 4 conversion van. My van had the same HD-44 front axle under it used in the F-series trucks in the late 70's.

So what or where exactly is the difference between the E-series and the F-series frame(s) if you'd could be more specific please? :hmm:
