Frame widths

Post by Bunkerhillbilly »

Hey guys. I was wondering how much wider is the 73-79 frames than the 57 to 72 frames. What is the actual width of each. I could crawl under mine and measure em but it's a little chilly here in Illinois this time of year!!

Something no one will understand. I got under my 64 and my 77 with a tape measure. They are the same width. I'm gonna rip out that bogus twin I Beam **** and put in a 57 straight axle. Once I get that big goofy cross member and all the rest out of it I should easily take 200 pounds off the front. I'll set up the steering with a cross steer set up and keep my power box. So basically I'm building a 77 step side gasser
