Chassis Tech drop beams on a 67 f250 and tracking width

Post by twoton »

First I am a newbie and this is my second post here looking for information. I am wanting to lower my 67 F250 in the front and in the rear. I have located Chassis Tech drop beams for the front, only outfit that I can find who currently sells them. Apparently they make them off of a faxed form as you order them. My question is to the guys who have lowered trucks, Are you running a shorter in length drop beam to get the tracking width of the front of the truck narrower so the tires set up in the inside of the front fenders and have turning clearance? I am wanting to run a factory 8 lug steel wheel with dog dish hubcaps.

The factory beams measure 43-1/2 from Centerline of mounting bolt to Centerline of king pin.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've never lowered a truck this way before.

Thanks
Travis
