Power Brake Booster Bracket Confusion

Post by Pointman »

I've have one last question and I didn't want to hijack anyone's thread so I'll ask here. If I add a booster from another year truck, say a 77 F-150 into my 68 F-100, do I use the bracket for my year truck or the donor's year bracket? Thanks for any and all wisdom.

According to this tech article, yes, as long you are acquiring a '77 or earlier, fixed pivot style booster bracket. They also made a cantilever style which may require additional modification. http://www.fordification.com/tech/clutc ... ackets.htm
