Post by 19674x4 »

is it worth going with a msd electronic ignition distributor or just leaving it with points?

A lot of guys (me included) use Petronix. It bolts right in and runs around 80 bucks.

Anybody have a diagram for wiring in a duraspark?
Never done it, but got some duraspark stuff laying around and thought I might try it.

I'm the black sheep here. I had a pertronix II and while it worked, it was great. When it died, however...it left me good and stranded just outside of Brooklyn, WA on the Raymond side.

Next day, I went back to points and just carry a new spare set in the glovebox.
