Post by IGN65F100 »

Help/Question... i have a
1965 F100 Shortbed
BAD 300 inline 6, with a 3 on the tree trans.

I want to keep my column shift/3 on the tree.. will a 351 or 302 straight fit/bolt on to the current tranny?.. or a 352?..

I believe thats bass ackwards. The 302 and 351 windsor have the same bell housing pattern as the 300 does. The 352 has the same as the 360 and 390.
Also, the 4.2l V6 has the same bolt pattern as the 302 and 351w. I have a spare 4.2l engine and five speed tranny and have verified it.
