9” center section with 8.7 gear

Ok, Help please. Is my research understanding correct. Are all the components/parts, 9” differental parts, except the ring and pinnon?

9 inch is a 9 inch all the junk swaps you just have ring and pinion ratios and then open limited slip and such differentials. :thup:
