BROKEN YOKE PIVOT

Post by radioactivelarry »

Has anyone ever had the yoke pivot in the bell-housing break? Mine did and it broke the little tangs off of the throw-out bearing. The L shaped pivot is riveted to the bell-housing so it has to come apart. Found the part at MAC auto catalog and also found that the 390 Mustang parts are the same. Got new Z bar bushings with the felt donuts, linkage, spring and throw-out bearing all worked good! Luckily my clutch, pressure plate and flywheel were good.

Works like new now! :woohoo:
