Transmission Identification

Post by 97ESuperDuty »

Hi, Just purchased a 1997 Ford E Super Duty, class C motor home. Need to identify the transmission so I can change fluid. It has the Trito V10 engine. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

1997 is that wonderful time frame of re-tooling the plant. It either a E40D or a 4r100. Its new enough, just plug the VIN into a ford vin decoder and it should lay it all out for you.
