There's a lot of varibles in selecting a convertor
Camshaft size and duration ,
gearing.
driving habits and cruising speeds.
you dont want it so loose that it's slipping all the time.

A little more info will help.

Stock converter will work fine for that.

Entire books have been written about that... probably ... certainly entire articles....

In very basic terms a "stall" (actually a higher stall or high stall) converter is about getting the engine into the power band. But the total package comes into play, tire height, gearing, vehicle weight transmission ratios...

So if you have an engine with a big cam, single plane intake that is making power at 3500-6000 rpm you're not going to want a 1200 stall converter (probably more like 3000-4000) and conversely if you have a mild cam and a dual plane that makes power from 1000-4500 you're going not going to want a 4000 stall converter.

Also if you're turning 2000 rpm at highway speed, you're going to want the converter working efficiently and not slipping in that range.

Basically the way I figured it out in your case is that it sounds like you're not that far off stock, a 260 (I'm assuming thats something like a Comp 260H) cam is a mild cam you have a pretty tall gear and haven't mentioned anything radical about your truck the stock converter will work fine for that, you haven't changed the parameters enough to cause it to be unsuitable.

You could always call or e-mail Jay @ Broader Performance, TCI, B&M and ATI with all the details on your truck... Exact cam, heads, exhaust, intake carb, compression, transmission ratios, tire size, rear gear and so forth and see what they say too...

FWIW I was not too impressed with TCI converters...
