C6 leaking front seal?

Hello my c6 was leaking so I pulled it out put in a new front seal, oil pan gasket and band adjustment nut. Now with it sitting in the truck not even started yet the dam thing is leaking. It seems to be the front seal again. Any ideas? I did the rear seal last year so that is good.

I am assuming you didn't replace the bushings in the pump that the converter drive shaft rides on. Nobody ever does. that's more than likely worn out. They are only a few bucks to replace, and a new seal. Check the converter seal area as well, when things are out of tolerance the shaft will wear as well. What really sucks is pulling it back out to replace 35.00 worth of seal and bushing...
