Bearing Part #

Post by cajuncannon03 »

Anyone have the part #'s for the bearings (front & rear) on 3 speed '68 F100 transmission(3 speed manual on collar). Also, any trick to remove bearings, to make replacement easier.

Thanks

If you're going to the trouble of replacing the front and rear bearings, it would be wise to go ahead and replace the countershaft bearings and blocking rings.

Not a heck of a lot more price or trouble, and you'll be insuring longer life for your tranny.

Just get a bearing kit with the blocking rings, and it will have thrust washers, all bearings and a complete gasket set.
