The transmission jack is a must. Your cross member may also be attached with rivets. If thats the case you will need to remove the front bumped and loosen the cab mounts and jack up the cab an inch or so to allow the bellhousing to clear the cross member.

I like to just take out all the bolts then hook a chain on the front to a 988 cat loader and pick'er right up endwise and shake it till the tranny falls out on the ground. It is best to leave the speedocable hooked up so you can make it 50 feet long. :lol:
