Auto to Standard clutch question

Post by tazzman68 »

Hi there, got offered a 79 parts truck, and I want to swap out my 352 and MX for the 302 and 4spd in my 67 F100. My question is, will the pedal assy work form the 79, or will I need to find an older setup?

I'm thinking they will interchange, but I'm not 100% sure. You'll just have to give it a try and let us know. :D

I will keep everyone informed on the progress, and if the pedals interchange, but just outta curiosity, how much would you need for that pedal setup, if the 79 won't work?

I put a 4 speed in place of an C-6 in a '73 f250 once. used the parts from a '71 f150. so the pedals should be able to interchance.
didn't have to buy anything to convert it, just took the parts from the '71.

are you still going to use the PS I had or the one from your parts truck (assuming it fits?) I will take it back if you dont need it, and save you a few $$$.
