leg bone's connected to the... shoulder bone...

Post by mdbaker42 »

Ok,here's the story. I bought a semi basket case 69 f-100. most if not all parts came with. 360/four speed. It's been a long time since I did any clutch work. Will someone please tell me the sequence of parts I need starting from the crank shaft back? I have the fly wheel, new clutch pack w/tool, cant find throw out bering but I'll get a replacement. The 4-speed is all there. I guess what I'm asking is, are there any gaskets, shims, sealants, lubes, ect. As always, Thanks, Mike.

Don't forget the pressure plate! Looks like you have it correct. Some throw a light film of grease on the tube the throw out bearing glides on.

.. And don't forget the pilot bushing/bearing.

Pilot bushing/bearing, flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, and...... get a manual for basic information.

Youll need some red Loc-tite for the flywheel bolts.

Is there a cover plate between the engine and the bell housing on a 360? There is on a 302. Forgot one once on a Mustang. Heart breaking.
