What Type of ATF is Good?

I need to add some fluid to my auto trans because some leaked out when I removed the dipstick tube to paint it. What kind does the C6 auto take? Thanks

Do NOT add Dexron-Mercon! Go with type F. You can buy it at most auto parts stores. If they don't stock it, they can probably order you some. This is what the PS pumps on our trucks use as well.
