302 cam firing order

Post by 70xlt »

Rookie here, I had 1970 302 rebuilt, 270ish to 290ish cam??? asked for cam where wouldn't change trans converter and intake and 4 barrel. Put distributor/wires back to original setting, fires up quick but will not run well and stalls with flame out of carb. With a cam change do I need to change the firing order of the distributor? thxs a bunch

Depends. If it's a 351 cam, it'll have a different firing order.
