Power steering pulley bent help!!

Post by Timd »

I was tired and put my pulley on backwards and in trying to remove it I bent it, I have a 1971 Ford Torino 302 in my 1969 F100, does anyone know what pulley is interchangeable? pulleys are expensive. Would a power steering pump from a 69 f100 or any other model or year fit on my engine?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I'm assuming that the pulley you bent, was correct and worked on your engine. If so, there should be some letter markings on it. You can use these to source another pulley. If not, you will need to measure the set-back, sheave width, and shaft diameter. There's no telling what pump you have installed.
