After a few months of posts, research, some creative designing and bugging some friends.......there's fire in the hole. I appreciate all of the input, idea's and suggestions and sure ill be asking for more info....It is kind of neat to have a 68 Ford truck with a mild 302 attached to a 5 speed tranny. I took a short video after getting it fired, have to get the exhaust reattched before totally ticking off the neighbors. Never been a fan of straying from original but figured it would be a fun learning experience and a unique bump.
Still have to wrap up the trans mount, clutch mechanism, and decide weather to shorten the center shaft or go to a single driveshaft

Re: it's finally in there
Have to get the fuel pump wired up, install the starter and get the wires and all hooked up before I can finally hear it, gotta get my driveshaft back and get the clutch hooked up before getting to try it out. The shifter came with the 3 speed shifter kit when I changed from column shift to floor shift, the white ball was originally ordered for an 06 GT but I never used it, just had to drill it out and tap it to work on the bigger shifter, but I am very excited to get it all together and driving it again!! I definetly appreciate the input given on my prior posts, it's all been helpful.
